My first formidable Swiss made watch, most world travelled, most beat up watch. And I did not pick it!
Hamilton Khaki Field Auto. My wife jump-started my collecting obsession buying it for me. She could not stand how clueless I was that I’d need it. Travelled most of Southeast Asia twice with it. No screw down crown, less than acceptable strap (practically crumbled after the first trip)—hikes, temple climbs, river boat excursions, tuk-tuk bone rattling rides, rain, scorching heat, beaches and jungles. Performed exceptionally. And beloved in my watches. I’m sure you all have one you’ve travelled the most with.
