The orange datewheel sold me on the Nudos.

Nice oranges. Here are some of my favorites.

Also consider the Second Hour Gin Clear MkII

Iโ€™m in love with my Heimdallr

Nodus is by far the best quality and most individual design on this list.

ยท

The Duckworth Prestex in your wider picture gets my vote?

ยท

My vote is based on Seiko being a good brand and having a great experience owning one. All of your options look pretty sweet.

The Dan Henry 1975 is an affordable alternative if you need one. The 39mm wears smaller than you'd think, as well.

But from your list, the Nodus has the most striking dial.

ยท

Orient Mako orange dial was my first "colorful" dialed watch and made for a great beater, they can still be had for a bargain so makes for great choice as a first orange diver

ยท

Nodus. Not a lot of orange sandwich dials out there.

ยท

On your list, the Nodus for sure. Iโ€™ve also been perpetually tempted to pick one of these Islander Northports up, but canโ€™t talk myself into an orange watch, even though I generally like orange (Iโ€™m a Clemson alum).

I be eyeing that halloween dial G-shock though

ยท

Doxa would be my choice from the main picture, but from the 4 choices I picked the Seiko one. Have fun shopping!

Doxa!!!!

Doxa!!!!

I was looking for this ;-)

How much do you want to spend and what importance do you place on water resistance?

I am guessing that the Seiko is SPRD59K1 with the 4R36 and 100m wr. It is a solid watch. Sells for $200. The Orient is sold at a similar price and has 200m wr. These watches look the same to me but the Orient has an upgraded movement. In this price tier, I lean Seiko because of brand loyalty and the Orientโ€™s extra wr doesnโ€™t mean anything to me

The Nodus is a vintage inspired 42mm watch that uses the NH 35, which is regulated by Nodus. The bracelet is fantastic. Youโ€™re getting a lot of watch for $475. Nodus is known for exceptional craftsmanship and customer service. It is the best looking out of the bunch imo. Do you want to pay that much for an orange diver?

I donโ€™t know much about Spinnaker. This is a 70s inspired model, 44mm and sells for $320 today. It also uses an NH movement with 300 wr. Plenty of YouTube reviews on both Nodus and Spinnaker. I like the look of the Nodus over the Spinnaker and the brandโ€™s quality. However, I am biased as I own three of their watches (but not the Retrospect).

I'm still trying to track down a reasonable orange samurai.

I own the Seafoam colorway on my Islander but this Blaze Orange Fire is 'Fire' for sure!!!!

ยท

Dumas just to have something different and unique the rest are all pretty similar apart from the tone of orange .

Doxa Sub 300

Or for less money:

Vintage quartz Seiko diver 150m. I would make sure it had an English/Kanji date wheel.

The SRPKs are underrated. A lot of snobs crapped on them saying they donโ€™t stack up to the SKX. But they feel and look great. They have a much nicer dial and indices than the SKX.

Nodus are really up and coming very impressed with them

ยท

Ok. After a wk of votes by my fav Crunchies, Nodus has the lead by a very thin margin! ๐Ÿ˜„

Have a Retrospect III in salmon. One of the most well made, satisfying and beautiful watches I own.
