Freak Out…love it or hate it
Undeniably, the Ulysse Nardin Freak us a sight to admire. Like it or hate it on the wrist, the movement is simply innovative & inspiring.
The latest updates with a thinner casing and the use of carbon is amazing on the wrist.
However, the shocking pricing without a date function is one that made me rethink. I went from hating every part of the Freak, to now admiring it.
Anyone else the same? At first you can’t stand the sight of it. But some how the brand or marketing or someone talking about it made you rethink the whole thing.
Now, I’ve grown fond of it. But not ready.

For me, the blue look nicer. It is a complicated watch, suit the price.
The lineup is nothing short of micro machinery mastery. Have to give them props, but do not really have a desire to own one.
I need to see one in person before forming an opinion.

When this piece first appeared I was totally blown away. I still am. Still want one. Not for everyone but it’s a grail for me.

UN is one of my favourite brands and Freak is simply work of art. You need to see it in person to get the full experience how this looks like. Definitely acquired taste but exquisit piece nonetheless

Love to see these weird & wacky designs & awesome engineering, but certainly wouldn't want to own one (monetary value aside).

Love - have since gen 1 landed so many years ago. Doubt budget will ever allow but always can dream.... My favorites have always been the sporty ones with some WR and no precious metal.
I think they're quite cool, but I recall they're massive! All their watches are humongous. Can't wear them.
Forgive my ignorance but does it tell the time? Not super familiar with the brand, other than recalling their watches being “expensive” 🤙😝
