What is your best watch and strap pairing?
This watch keeps being advertised to me and, while I do think it’s a gorgeous vintage watch, I think what makes me stop and admire it every time is the way the NATO strap compliments the patina. Do you have any watch and strap pairings that you think are practically perfect?

Mine would probably be my U Boat on this burgundy NATO. I feel like it really pulls out the tiny red text on the dial.
Can’t say which one is my favorite combination. But I recently put this JLC ostrich strap on my Cellini 6623. It looks pretty good.

After many, many changes, my Hamilton Field Khaki Mechanical has found its forever home on a black Erika's Original with the 'sand' stripe that matches the lume.
Keeping with Hamilton, putting a Forstner Klip bracelet on my silver dial Khaki Field Automatic helped imbue it with some old school charm.
And a Forstner Komfit mesh bracelet on my 38mm Murph.
And finally, I went custom for my Longines Heritage Sector Dial and pared it with a taupe leather strap from the Strap Tailor.
These two combos are probably my favourites in the Collection.

I’m pretty happy with this pairing. BB58 with a sharkskin strap.
I found this unicorn of a green strap. It's an authentic Seiko marked "swim safe" which is appropriate for a durable field watch and the two tone buckle matches the Alpinist perfectly. My efforts to find other Seiko swim safe straps has been fruitless so I feel pretty lucky to have scored this one.

I couldn't choose just one. It took me some time to narrow it down to just these two. I have been focusing on matching bands and watches for a couple of months now and I have several that I really feel like my choices are many tiers above what they came with.
