Is there a watch better looking than the rest?

For sure there is. But it’s a personal thing I guess. For me the AP 11.59 Chronograph in blue it’s the most beautiful watch. The size, the lugs and the beautiful colorscheme. Everything beautifully executed. Even so, I don’t think I will ever own one. Besides the obvious reason of the cost I would never wear it. It would be too good looking for my lifestyle and the environment I’m living in. I would never find the right occasion for it. But I can still enjoy the pictures of it, or occasionally, have a look at an AP AD.

That is my pic but for you guys there might be others.

I have been told by very smart people on the internet that Audemars Piguet is a one trick pony, they only produce one watch, and here you are with a picture of another watch. What if blue is not my color? What if I need something to go with bloodshot eyes:

Image

A simple three hander with a deep red dial. (It comes in purple too). They don't make the chronograph in red, shame. The whole 11.59 line is beautiful. I would have to drive or fly to another state to see one in person. Like you, it is beyond aspirational, it is money that I will likely never have to spend.

For bloodshot eyes I recommend your watch of choise combined with a Brooks Brothers original Buttom Down in pink. The great thing with these watches is that they are actually possible to buy (besides the price tag). Not volumes in store but available. This was Harrods in March, but still.

I will just get into my car and drive to Harrods.

Stunning.....💯

I never understood the hate for this model. Newer versions are even more refined and I fully agree, this is one of best looking watches of all for me too. The only thing that bothers me is date at 4.30, I would have without and the it would be 10/10

·

I'm a big fan and love that so many dislike this model. I have expressed my interest and the ADs were shocked I didn't want a RO first.

That is so much more interesting that the RO, I guess that goes to show how fickle and strange tastes can be.

For me, this is perfection.

2254 comes close, but there's nothing better looking to my eyes.

I like understated tooly watches, no bling & dislike round indices.

I didn’t see the hate for the 11.59. I read that there where a bit of that. I probably read wrong (or right actually) forums.

Great looking choise. I’m far from get one at the moment but I would like Lange. I really like the Bigger Date.

15210 ST or 15210 QT so stainless or ceramic. I like the textile strap. Blue or the smoked beige dial unless white gold is an option. I think that version has more colors. Date only.

Somebody here on WC has this watch or a similar AP with a black (?) dial and it is the best looking watch to me. But I believe its price is $36,000.

My best looking real-world watch is the Seiko Ginza with the blue cobblestone dial.

I dunno but this Elegance 34mm quartz is killing me lately 🥲

34mm? Quartz?? It's killing me too. But there sure are worse ways to die.

In my eyes, the most beautifulest that I can’t get enough of, the RGM Model 25 in Barley Guilloche:

Every detail is my absolute cup of tea, something I wish I could stare at daily on my wrist.

How many Affirm payments is that?

I dunno what affirm payments are, but it's about 9K.

But it's twice the price of the entry level GS quartz for some reason.....

Knowing Seiko, it may be for no reason whatsoever. I've given up on trying to make sense out of what Seiko does. Now I just embrace the chaos.

I'm considering just getting a Seiko Dolce 😅

What in the world is there to dislike? Any nitpicks are just blown out of the water by the crazy beauty of this watch. Royal Oak who??

·
one.five.ohh

I'm biased, but I love this line.

Smaller, thinner 3 handers are coming too.

"Smaller, thinner 3 handers are coming too." No, don't change a thing!

That's a viable choice. You'll get a beautiful dial, super accurate quartz movement, the right size and all for less $$$.

Looks more Japanese thou 🤔 I think I like it.

·

Wow, too hard to get right to one watch! I find so many dials beautiful for different reasons.

·

i will say that dial color is amazing!!!

AP outside their comfort zone. It’s a beautiful design but some collectors think that’s AP is about the Royal Oak and Royal Oak offshore. AP is so much more… #audemarspiguet

True, steel sports take all the spotlight. Might be true for many brands.
