Personally my grail has always been a yellow gold date day . It was a watch that I admired in my early twenties and wanted to buy for over 20 years until I pulled the trigger last year . I probably could have bought it sooner but such a purchase is completely self indulgence and I would have felt guilty on my family so I held off until the time that it was financially responsible to buy ( house paid , car paid and investments taken care of) . I think my approach has really allowed me to enjoy the watch with no financial regrets. Everyone’s life is different and there are no rights and wrongs but for me the long road it has taken to acquire my “ grail “ has certainly made me appreciate it 👍🏼

Rolex easy answer, the bracelets are superb 👌🏽

I’m fortunate to own both Omega and Rolex . For me Rolex is superior, the bracelet and general feel of the watch is of better quality in my eyes. I also prefer the Rolex catalogue, I find Omega far to cluttered with many variations of the same watch. A negative for me with Rolex is the hype around the brand, I hate this investment and flex bs. I’ve been a Rolex fan for many years and hold on to the memory when Rolex was a tool and every day watch ( albeit expensive). If someone is fairly new to watches , I completely understand the dislike of Rolex, the purchase process through todays ADs is not a enjoyable experience!! . End of the day, both are fantastic watch brands and make superb products but we all have our own opinions.. it would be boring if we didn’t ☺️🤝

Interesting you say this .. when the 200t was released it went straight to the top of my wish list . I have since seen it in a shop window ( I didn’t have time to go in and try it on ) , I was taken aback at how small the overall watch and dial looked. I will go back in the next couple of weeks and try it on but I’m thinking the sub 300t may be a better option for me ! 🤔
