Watches & Sneakers
I’ve been on Watchcrunch for some time now and I realized I haven’t posted much about my other hobby, collecting sneakers. I’ve been into collecting sneakers since high school. Sneakers are my other “thing” I am passionate about. In recent years I’ve noticed that my love for sneakers has slowed and kind of died down a little bit. I used to have this strong desire to get every single sneaker that releases. In recent years I’m more about getting the shoe that fits with my own personal style more than trying to get every single shoe release.
Now, I’ve found that my passion for watches has grown stronger than my passion for collecting sneakers. Out of curiosity, I wanted to ask, what do you guys collect other than watches? Let me know, I know this is a watch community but I thought it would be interesting to find out what other interests you guys have, I’d love to hear from you all.

I do have a penchant for footwear as well as watches. Aside from a variety of shoes and boots, I like to collect classic sneeks by adidas like the Samba, Superstars, or the Stan Smith. Also, classic knockarounds like Jack Purcells and the Royal Lo by ProKeds and other retro styles from Reebok, New Balance.
I don't wear sneakers all too often anymore, but I love my pair of Nike Air More Uptempo '96s.
I don't collect watches. I used to collect spent firearm cartridges (nothing big or valuable and not many).

That’s a very nice Walther you’re got there. I’m not as familiar with guns as I am with watches but I do know a some things about guns. I’m also into knives & other EDC gear like flashlights

Thank you! Right on I grew up with them and worked with them for so many years and I'm into edc as well, I have a decent assortment of knives but only carry one most of the time and everyone needs a good pair of sneakers!

I don't collect them, but enjoy finding a niche pair that look different than what most people wear.

I always wondered how they fit & if the “pump” feature actually contributes to how the shoe preforms 🤣
When I worked in an office I was into shoes- now that I wfh it’s just perfumes and watches. Arguably navy chore coats, although that is accidental. I just really like them lol

I have a couple of chore coats in my closet. I don’t get to wear them as much since I wfh as well when I do get the chance I pull them out 👍🏼
