Yeah fair enough. No watch is liked by everyone. I dislike more watches that I see than I do like now that I think about it. I’m too critical lol
For natos, I like Crown & Buckle's Surpeme nato strap enough that I never tried anything else except a few cheap natos. The C&B Supreme is all I'd ever want out of a nato.
Fair enough. I don’t typically get chronographs without a 12 hour register because I use that feature often, but I know I’m probably in the minority with actually using it.
Any idea if a VK67 costs anymore than the VK63? It does seem like so many brands just default to the VK63. The 24hr indicator isn't nearly as useful as the 12 hour register on the VK67, yet it's rare to see the VK67 compared to the VK63
Well done! Can't argue with these choices! At one point, I had these same 2 watches and my Seiko Willard. I had just those 3 watches for a little over a year. Was definitely a different time in my collecting career. A much simpler time lol
I can only speak to North America, but it's not that hard to find Omega certified watchmakers that have access to all the same parts if you spend a little bit of time digging around on Google and the forums. For anyone not aware, there's a forum dedicated to Omega watches, including a dedicated forum for vintage Omegas, and that has more info on vintage Omega watches than any one person could ever consume. There's even certified Omega watchmakers on that forum. They're not plentiful, but they're still out there. https://omegaforums.net/
I know it's getting harder and harder for everyone in the vintage world, but with some more time and patience vintage Omega is still totally fine. It's not scarce yet.
