Yeah I've been looking at GMTs since the Seiko movement came out and this seemed like one of the best of the bunch.

Love the position of the date window on the left one myself.

Hmm yeah the timeless human condition of the grass is always greener... For me I realize that what I am seeking is the hunt rather than the prize. The fast food burger is never as good as my brain promises it will be. I'm sure as a neurologist you understand the whole dopamine affect of getting pleasure from seeing the apple tree and it helping you walk towards it and eat the apple even before getting the apple - the"reward"isn't actually the apple but the journey towards it.

My two cents is enjoy this moment right now - the struggle and debating - that's exactly what is fun about watches. Then consider what kind of life you want at the end of the day and go towards that. For me I would wait and see how my feelings change over the course of say a year with the 195 and see if I can imagine looking back from 5 years in a future where I sold it - how would I feel, would I have any wishes for a more refined, polished version of what I enjoyed for the past 5 years with the 177.

Anyways, always enjoy your content!

I'd say the feeling the watch evokes in me overall is number one. This is intentionally vague because sometimes you can't quite put your finger on why a watch makes you feel something. The dial is definitely part of this but so can the watch history, personal experience with the watch and interaction with your wrist and style.
