Nodus Sector GMT with bracelet

Hi all, after a few months of waiting, finally got the Nodus GMT that our fearless leader made a video about awhile ago. What do you all think? I was pleasantly surprised they came out with the bracelet option. One thing I noticed which is interesting is the flat top but domed underside sapphire which causes interesting unexpected distortions which I love. Also it makes it seem like the interior sides are taller than they are - which I also like, although others may not.

Yeah I've been looking at GMTs since the Seiko movement came out and this seemed like one of the best of the bunch.

Seiko really kicked the door open with their affordable GMT movement. I rewarded them with buying the Seiko5 SSK. The design and materials of the Nodus appear to be much better than Seiko though.

If I didn’t already have a Sector Dive I’d buy one of these for sure! Love the regulated gmt and the bracelet. Hopefully they release the bracelet and clasp as standalone soon so I can pop it on my dive 🥺

Been thinking about this one a lot… but something is keeping me from pulling the trigger. I think it’s partially I’m curious to see what other $500ish GMTs come out in the next few months. You enjoying it?

Loving it so far! I've been looking too at other GMTs in the price range -the other one that most tempted me was the lorier GMT, which is actually a true GMT but also$600. I have so many black dials that I wanted a change.

Fingers crossed! The bracelet is pretty nice! Even the quick adjust, which I've heard mixed reviews about, has been pretty solid and functional.

What a gorgeous watch, looks very nice with the bracelet

Great watch, a far more attractive proposal than the SSK in my opinion!

Awesome. Still considering it. We have similar taste because I’ve also considered the Lorier… as well as Nezumi.

Great watch but it didn't do it for me. Flipped mine rather quickly. Had it been the Red Bar version, would likely still be with me.

The GMT hand shortness bothers me though.

Have owned the Nodus GMT as well as both white and black dial Lorier Hyperions. All sold although the white dial Lorier stuck longest.

Have the Nezumi GMT now and it may or may not last after the Traska Venturer restocks.

Talk about similar taste… you mentioned all 4 gmts I’m currently considering. Also wondering if I should hold out for the blue traska. Which of the previous 3 was best?

I have the traska (in mint) and this nodus. You can’t go wrong with either. the traska has the second crown, which does get turned inadvertently. The scratch-proof coating is so good. Traveler gmt is fun, but probably less practical unless you aren’t actually traveling

The nodus wears great. I love it. I’ve been wearing it much more than the traska, but it’s also newer. Easier to change the second times zone so you can pretend you’re important and have calls in Rome and then Tokyo.

Both absolutely fantastic watches. I’d probably go with the traska. No, the nodus. But tomorrow, the traska.

What made you sell the Lorier? I’m also thinking about their chrono. I love the traska gmt but don’t love that 2nd crown and I can’t put my finger on what’s keeping me from the nodus… but Lorier and traska are the brands overall that I resonate with more.
