Hello, my name is Tom

I collect mainly vintage watches, old favourites from my childhood years, though I do have 6 or 7 new watches.

I have Watches from Germany, Russia the UK and from the US.

I tend to collect what I like the appearance of, or perhaps because I admire the workmanship.

I don't collect any particular type of watch, such as Divers only.

I guess it come from a love of vintage working pieces.

Welcome Tom 🙏

All collectors are welcome no matter your likes or dislikes and I think you'll fit right in here with your vintage tastes in watches. There are a lot of vintage collectors here from all walks of life and ages as well, myself pushing 60 I fit right into the vintage bracket myself 🤣

Once you feel comfortable you'll have to share some pic's of your watches, after all we're a nosey lot and love wrist shots.

Take care and I'll see you around watchCrunch 💯

Thank you so much for your kindness!.

Like you I am also WAY OVER 21 years of age, almost 3 times over in fact. 😂🤣😀

Perhaps you are right, that may well be where the love of vintage timepieces comes from.

I guess age brings it's flaws, such as aches and pains, but the pleasures of watch collecting make up for the shortcomings!.

Again, Thank you for the Welcome and your kindness.

Welcome to the vintage corner. So, you are older than @TonyXXX , and he is old, much older than me.

(I feel like we should all have Members Only jackets.)

Now that's a nice idea, perhaps with new kids on the block over the breast pocket 🤣😂🤣😂

They say you are only as old as you feel,  in which case I'm ready to expire! 🙏🙏🤣😂🤣

Thank you for your kind welcome.

Welcome! It's a very friendly crowd here. I started out obsessed with solid gold vintage dress pieces by Cyma, Longines and many others. There is something very satisfying about finding a nice example and getting it serviced so it will last for years more (I do not have the skills myself). I've moved on to more modern pieces now as the service costs were getting prohibitive, but my heart remains with small and beautiful vintage.

That is BEAUTIFUL!

I  can't explain this, but every time I see a cute dog, I want to take it home. 😂🤣

THANK YOU for your kindness and your warm welcome.

Shoot, my family don't treat me this well. 😭😭🤣😂🤣

I still have the skill, but life has been rather unkind, in that years of focus on tiny parts are taking their toll.

I look like something from a sci-fi movie nowadays, spectacles with ever stronger loup attachments.

Such is life as they say, whoever the hell THEY are!. 😂🤣😂🤣

Thank You so much for the warm welcome, it's genuinely appreciated.
