The Chronograph, the GMT, Day/Date, mechanical alarm…watches are complicated. Which of their functions do you find useful day to day?
I’ve used the chronograph to time things at work (I work in pyrotechnics in tv and film)
I‘ve used the gmt when I’ve been on holiday, the mechanical alarm was just for fun to be honest and well the day and the date goes without mention really, love to know which ones you use and for what?

I find the chronograph to be the most useful complication (other than a date). I use it mostly for timing Sudoku puzzles, but also find it handy for things like timing how long it takes for food to be delivered. I also like the opportunity to interact with the watch, other than just setting the time or winding it.
Mine in order of preference
Hope this helps 😊

Excellent…I agree with all of them but I’ve always been confused by the worldtimer. 😂

The timing how long it takes for food to be delivered made me chuckle…. 😊

This one has roped me in 😊 Don’t apply logic, I won’t be able to provide any either 😄

I used to travel for work back in another time and I relied on my GMT's (I simply don't get along with world timers for whatever reason) and just out of habit I am still drawn to GMT as most favorite complication.
I've and appreciated alarms, chronos, day/dates, date, etc and liked them all however at the end of the day IF I had to pick one it just might be a GMT but please don't ever make me pick just one 😂
Going to go out on a limb here but in my opinion one of the most versatile and useful complications for a watch is also one of the most simple and unassuming... the dive bezel! You can use it for Timing things, a compass, keeping track of a different time zone and probably a lot of other things that I don't even know about. Not to mention they're fun to fiddle with...
The dive bezel for sure, as mentioned above. I rarely find the increase in significant figures on a chrono to be useful. For me though, a GMT function is supremely helpful for a long distance relationship. I've given up trying to find the right one for the right price, short of the exceptional Casio AE-1200. What's better than a worldtimer, chronograph, perpetual calender, alarm and 100m safety... for $20?!
Love me a day-date. 2nd is GMT.

Was about to suggest the same! :)
I track +8:00GMT all the time so a way to track a second timezone whether a GMT or a 12hr bezel works. Day date is also awesome for practical reasons. Dive timer over a chrono simply because my aging eyes can’t quickly see the small registers at times.

Fantastic collection 🤩
Useful? Besides the seconds I reckon the date 🧐

Rotating bezel and chronograph for me. I use them a lot fr cooking. They both serve the same purpose, but i prefer the rotating bezel (i feel it's easier to read)
1. GMT 1A. Dive Bezel 3. Date 4. Chrono 5. More complicated calendars 6. Anything else
I think if I am being honest, probably the date complication - which is hilarious because I prefer no-date watches if I can help it.
Which complication could I wish I be saying? The GMT... as I wish I could be traveling/on-the-go enough to warrant NEEDING one, haha.
Which one do I enjoy for the sake of enjoyment - likely the chronograph. Timing my pour-overs requires so much precision apparently. 😂
1.Date.
2. Day of the week.
Working with documents everyday i have to check if dates are correct. Like a good pavlovs dog i look for it on my watch dial regardless of number of calendars i have at my desk.
First off, your Speedmaster looks great! As for complications, I've recently been on a perpetual calendar kick. There are watches like the IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42 that are so incredible. Sure, it's a $23K pricetag, but that complication is most impressive to me. The perfect marriage of art and engineering. So that's my newfound rabbit hole - perpetual calendars.

Thanks very much!
I’ve always been a little scared of perpetual calendars because of setting the date etc.
Ive always been a fan of IWC though. 👌🏽
