I like them to match. And with nato’s the nice thing is you can buy 3-5 at a time and just see what sticks cause they’re generally cheap. I have bought 1-2 at a time and then eventually just dump the one i never wear
#5 for me! You get high horology (FPJ), luxury sports (BP), and a classic everyday casual piece (Ham), full collection right there. #2 was a close second for me
In terms of crazy art/novelty watches, give me an urwerk or mb&f all day long over a bovet or jacob & co or anything with jewels/diamonds everywhere. Very cool stuff.
Also they make hyper precise stuff in their emc line (^for mr leghorn who doesn’t like their tech specs) that may be worth checking out
Isn’t that kind of what Credor is? I’m not too familiar with them but i know some are super high end.
Could not agree more with your overall point though, the fact that the name is ‘grand seiko’ is definitely a detractor for me, especially when some seikos are now selling for more than what grand seikos sell for - makes no sense from a product placement perspective
One of my favorite things is when a non-watch friend tells me they want to buy a watch. My only question is ‘what’s your budget and do you prefer a dressier or sportier look?’ Then i get to work!
This process resulted in a good friend buying a CW and he loves it. Great budget option.
