I've long been an enthusiast of well made timepieces, but I've never had the financial resources to get into a proper collecting habit. Everything else seems to take priority. But that won't stop me from finding myself in good company and learning as much as I can!

Welcome! You will find folks who have collections of all kinds here, whether multi thousand dollar pieces or those in the tens of dollars. I love cars, but don’t have the space, However it doesn’t stop me from being an enthusiast.

Welcome to WC. I think you’ll find this to be a place where people are into watches, but not into how much your watches cost or how many you have. You’ll see some really expensive watches, but the funny thing is that almost everybody has some “cheap” watches. That guy with an AP is happy to talk to you about $20 Casios. I think anyone who’s into watches in any way will find a place here.

What @thekris said. Collections here, thankfully, are diverse. There's joy to be had across price ranges and collection sizes.
Until recently, one of our most eloquent enthusiasts, @roberto, was actually at zero watches, so ownership isn't even a criteria!

I make it a goal in life to find the best for the least. Good cars can be affordable. Great bourbon doesn't have to cost too much. So I figured why not watches too? I'm excited to see what I can find out there that strikes my fancy harder than my wallet.
