How'd you know it's a fake? I'd like to know myself just in case.
Part of me thought maybe it was authentic and she just didn't know what she had. I myself am not capable of making that call with only a photo to go off of, but I mentioned to her maybe take it to a jeweler, it may be worth something. Then she got mad and told me she knew it was a fake, she didn't need someone telling her s**t she already knew. It's a common scam around here. Post a watch that some unsuspecting individual can Google (like a multi thousand dollar Patek) that they think they're getting for a steal and then they don't realize they are not only buying a fake watch for $100, but it's also a broken fake watch.

Ah..so it's targeting impluse buyers and people who randomly browsing. Sneaky.
Long time fan of watches and well made timepieces, but unfortunately don't have the bankroll to support a collection. Just looking to interact with fellow enthusiasts!

Nobody with eyes should fall for that junk.
You can offer less if you like, but I think that is a fairly expensive brand. Needs new glass and battery.

My old rule is still if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

In my defence, I'm myopic? As in can't see much beyond the length of my arm.

Subdials and pushers scream fake. Very bad fake.
It looks better with the smashed crystal. Previous owner probably tried to kill it.
