My last international trip I wore Omega Speedmaster limited edition. It’s a reduced speedy so no one noticed. But I was constantly worried that I will loose it. My next one, I am just planing to take my #hamilton khaki king on a nato strap and a #casio Pathfinder
I take my trusty and reliable 15 yr old "beater"! Mostly 'cause I don't care what happens to it (yet it keeps taking a licking and keeps on ticking!) and it'd be easy (and cheap) to replace if something did 👍 This one's been to the other side of the planet with me twice 😀
I take the one with the least monetary and sentimental value for everyday (currently my Pro Diver) and a nicer watch for other times (still lower monetary/sentimental value).
I only travel to countries which don’t require me to get a visa, then I also feel confident to bring any of my watches. Never ran into any issues. But nowadays I sometimes pretend to have forgotten to bring a watch so I can buy a new/used one there :-)
Sorry for the different topic, but condolences for the terrible things that happened to the people of your country, regardless of the politics of the whole situation.
