Do you match your watch to your outfit?

Do you decide which watch to wear based on your outfit?

Or do you choose an outfit based on which watch you want to wear?

Or are you completely indifferent?

Since I have more versatile watches I try to match the watches with my outfit (which isn’t very versatile).

You totally beat me to this post. I was planning on creating a post asking the community the same thing. Like minds!

To answer your question, I typically decide which watch I want to wear and the watch dictates the clothing color and options.

·

Dude that watch matches with everything! 😍

·

I do both. I like to complement the watch at times with my attire and sometimes the watch dictates.

·

Wow, really nice watch😍 this watch works with everythingthing, it's an allrounder;) when I buy a watch I always think if it works with my most commen outfits, if yes, I take it, if no, I do not take it.

Matching is a real Dick Grayson move.

·

I will when I think about it.

Grayson is easily my favorite DC Comics character.

Same here.

Everything I own is blue. Does that count as matching?

·

Didn’t know Nightwing was a Tudor man? I guess than makes sense if Bruce wore Rolex.

He's great. Love his complicated relationship with the boss man.

·

My choice of timepiece depends on my outfit for the day. Titans rule!

·

I wonder if I over think this. I try to stick to black with neutrals and go blue with naturals. I feel like white, green, or red dials can go either way. Does anyone else think like this?

·

Is there any other way?

Cool watch and T-shirt!

Thanks!

·

Always... I'm not sure what comes first though... the choice of watch or the choice of clothing!

Usually, the choice of watch. 😂

Great pics. Makes me yearn for a blue 79090 (or similar model)

I do now!

I'm not completely indifferent, but I've found that if I'm wearing a very distinctive watch when I go out, I don't need to wear any clothes. The watch is enough. And in these situations people always seem to notice my watch - I see them pointing and making comments.

Sometimes. If it makes me happy. No-one else is going to notice.

·

Ive made it easier on myself and wear plain black t shirts. This way anything I picks just works. 😉👍

We should only wear watches for ourselves anyway. 😊

Has anyone asked, "Hay, is that thing hand-wound?"

I had both the 75090 and the 79090 in my hand and opted for the former. I prefer small watches.

·

Tbh I choose my outfit and then I see what watch I feel like the most, so I don’t tipically match my watch to the outfit but sometimes it happens on accident

So wait, that’s the 75090 you’re wearing? Wow, the size is perfect for your wrist. 36mm look a tad tiny for me so I have to move up to the 39mm. Too bad though because the 36mm Tudors are where you can still find some value. Congrats on a perfect watch!

Has anyone asked, "Hay, is that thing hand-wound?"

Just once. I said it was quartz, and they just sort of nodded and edged away.

Yep. Skinny wrists. 😜
