I've been around a minute so yes it happens. A friend of mine likes to say "A lesson is repeated until learned" which I find rings true time and time again.
I have many clocks and also a good sized collection of mechanical phonographs (Edison, Victor, Columbia etc..). Anything vintage/antique and mechanical is very interesting to me.

Of course you already know what I am going to say- Willard-all-day.
But, I consider the Willard to be an asymmetric and not a turtle case. The true turtle case did follow that original asymmetrical case (6309). As an original owner of both, In my opinion they are definitely not the same.
You need an original 6105 Willard in your life, preferably a late production version.
