I use watch rolls primarily now but I do have a 4 place and a 2 place hard sided watch case. Unfortunately they used the bane of longevity, bonded leather, and now at least one is "shedding" and starting to look ratty. Still good on the inside but the outside....

Yah. I bought my Omega Planet Ocean in 2006 so that is 18 years, albeit I bought it in the fall. My Datejust is also that old though I bought that in summer. I'm sure many of my Hamiltons fit the bill.

I been at this a long while. 😀

PS: Anybody up for hauling out Fossil Character watches from the late 1980's/early 1990's? I'd be happy to post some pictures.

According to the authors definition of an independent, Patek qualifies but the author seems to ignore the fact that they are family owned and not part of a larger group. A. Lange and Vacheron, mentioned along with Patek in the same sentence, are affiliated with larger groups. For that mater I suppose Rolex would also qualify

Rather feminine, isn't it. For a woman (or a trans) it is fine. For somebody presenting as masculine, no so much.

Just goes to show, just because you have massive amounts of money, doesn't meant you have good sense (or taste).

Are you attending Intersect Atlanta this weekend?

Just to gage interest. If many are planning to attend, perhaps we could do a meet up after the show at a local tavern.
