I think the most amusing Invicta sales I've seen were buy-one-get-one-free type of deals. They weren't bad deals, either. I just don't know if I want to buy the same watch twice.

I've thought about taking advantage of those and getting two of their rather cool jump hour models.
A few years ago, while on a cruise, my friends won an ugly Invicta watch and they said it has MSRP price of $695. They was very happy to win such an expensive watch. When we came back, I found out that you can buy that watch in a store at almost 90% discount. Of course, I did not tell them that.
Some of their limited edition, all Swiss-parts, completely Swiss-made models can run that high. But in general, all of their Japanese movement models (both quartz and automatic) run about $150 or less. As said above, the high MSRP is a marketing ploy. The MSRP on those limited Swiss models are even more insane, lol.
Isn't it kinda ironic that people make fun of Invicta when basically all luxury brands have wildly inflated prices that they will decrease over time as new models arrive.
Love watches. Always have. At some price point, I have been collecting since the 1980’s starting with Fosil character watches. The other things I collect are vinyl records (and I suppose HiFi equipmen...

Rubes exist and get hosed daily I'm afraid.
Bwahahahaha 😝*
*NOT price I paid, took forever to find one at a legit price on eBay, i.e. under $125...🤏🏻😉🫣
I strongly believe it is just a marketing tool. ("Only today reduced to $199 from $895.00.") The COVID19 era shopping channels were the best.

I'll never stop getting a kick out of that 40k looking watch.

Legit for what you paid...
Invicta does the same with Glycine. I paid $550 for my Airman and they ask $2500 on the Glycine website. Cheapens the brand in my opinion.
I'm sure they're not the only ones who do that. Still silly though.

Wow, for the price of that Invicta, I could get maybe 10 Invictas. 😉🤣
Of course I'm just joking a bit. Owner of a 2007 ProDiver OB myself... still ticking to this day (no longer in rotation though).
