Great suggestions, I'll look into those options. As for getting rid of pieces, aside from a couple of sentimental pieces I'll never get rid of I'd like to be down to a three piece collection. One everyday/diver, one dress, and one with a complication ( gmt or chrono I'm undecided).

I have the V3 and I'm not a huge fan of the hour hand update but the updated bracelet, better lume, and roulette date make me sweat!

That's what I do but it's so much easier to hack the movement for a minute instead.

That's a great idea, it's still under a 5 year warranty so I'm not opening anything until after that first free service.

I just want to to run fast rather than slow.

I've noticed a trend in your watches hahaha. Awesome choice though. I love my offshore.

I second and third the "whichever feels more comfortable." However, I will say activities you will be doing with the watch on and weight could play in later. If you work with your hands the smaller U50 may be better as it's less likely to get caught on anything. To give you perspective, as you are a bigger guy the U50 on you looks like a classic proportion 37-39mm diver on an average wrist. The U1 looks like a modern sized sub on most people. So pick what you like best. If there is any chance you will ever sell it the U50 probably will move on easier. That's my .2.
