Best place to buy used?

I need advice from those who have purchased a watch used. I'm looking for a Tudor Pelagos LHD and it will be my first "luxury" purchase. Where is the best place to browse around and what should I pay (if you have experience)?

I've recently bought a new one from an AD in London. No knowledge on buying it used but I will be interested in the responses to your post for future reference? The Pelagos is fabulous!

Probably eBay with the authentication scheme and generous policies for buyers. Very hard to see how you could be scammed there.

You could try chrono24.com as many sellers use an escrow service to ensure a smooth transaction. I have not used them myself.

Also, there may be a watch exchange Facebook group in your region.

Good luck with your search... I'm partial to that model myself!

Moyer has a good reputation - they don't have what you're looking for at the moment, but their inventory is always changing

I agree with @BrianE Chrono24, you can narrow your search to countries of your choose, Box and Papers, and the better seller have the money in escrow. I have purchased a few watches on chrono24 all sales were 5 stars

Happy Jewelers in Fullerton, California if you're in the US has a large selection and well known.

I’ve had very good experiences using Chrono24, too. Just note that the return policy is different for private sellers v watch retail dealers.
