Of course I like WatchCruch but that goes without saying. I enjoy Teddy and the way he describes watches. Britt Pearce AKA Watch Gringa is always a joy and absolutely adorable. And lots of others, but these are the ones I felt I need to call out by name. Keep up the great work you YouTube watch reviewers -- us watch nerds love ya!
I appreciate the no date sub for its simplicity, symmetry, and its consistency. This is a watch that no matter what year it was made, it looks extremely similar to older and newer models. There are no color choices to be made -- black, that is it. I understand those that are not impressed with this watch, but to me, its non-assuming character is what makes it "perfect" to me.
Strangely, I have been on the Rolex waiting lists for an OP for so long now if I got the call I think I would decline. The over 1 year wait has caused me to fall out of love with that watch that I so much wanted. Right now my choice would be a Nomos Club Sport Neomatik, but cannot afford one right now. We shall still see if I still love this watch when I can.
I really appreciate what these two are doing and it is pretty clear to me that they both really do love watches, however, I think with a field watch that there should be some history behind it. Hamilton would be the way I go without hesitation -- this one is not for me.
