Just as a general rule of thumb, I try to get a discount on any watch I get if possible. I would see if you can negotiate a deal with Exquisite Timepieces. They don’t charge sales tax outside FL and since it is showing as in stock they will be more motivated to make a deal.
If you like German made watches and you're into the Bauhaus style it's a solid pick up. I'd try the get it pre-owned to save a buck. My son has one. He likes it and so do I. Good luck. 🍀

My £26 NTTD homage convinced me that one day I will own the real thing, hopefully by next Christmas.
Homages have a place in my collection both as wrist testers, and also because I had a real distaste for the attitude of Rolex ADs during the Watch boom. They were pretty clearly selling out the back door, as a group, to the grey market scalpers IHHO. So instead of accepting the ADs game, or getting screwed by the scalpers, I bought homages instead. Solved my need for Rolex, and saved me thousands.

$2K for a Junghans is... steep. I mean, if you really like it, go for it. But there should be better options out there.
If you need to ask the opinion of others, you don't like it enough to justify the expense.
Buy pre owned

How many Bauhaus regulators have you seen?
Just sayin....
This one’s been on my short list for a while. I don’t think it’s super popular so I’m prepared to wait for secondary market prices to drift down.
I tried the Junghans Form A in Person and loved it more than I expected.
German Warchdesign in general is very understated and a lot of designdetails you will notice only in person and sometimes after a bit of time.
It is worth what you are willing to pay for it, but I am sure you can also find a discount. Or get one used. 👍🏻
Get a $50 AliX homage and see if you like the look on your wrist. If you do, then look for the real thing pre-owned for a lot less than $2k.

I have purchased several watches through Exquisite Timepieces, and recommend them 100%.

Buying a homage to ‘wrist test’ is never a bad idea.

Not my cup of tea, but no hate for the watch itself.
I’m always thinking of how many vintage watches I can get for the price of a single “in production” modern watch.
One day, this watch will be a cool, little known vintage piece. Just not today!

This is a great perspective. Thanks for sharing
