Sell or keep?

I have about 22 watches in my collection and as I get deeper into watch collecting I’m realizing that some of my pieces are just not enjoyable anymore mainly because they are too big for my wrist. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and have a handful of watches that are over 41mm that I just don’t feel comfortable wearing anymore. So, the question stands, sell or keep?

If you don’t like em sell it to someone who will!

I’m trying to sell around 16 myself

Since there are only 2 choices in this "poll" I suggest you sell some and keep some. It's a win-win.

I was considering selling, but getting a good price is hard. I don’t want to get rid of a watch and money. It is a personal choice.

Nothing wrong with selling watches you dont want.

It's about what you like on your wrist, not an arbitrary size limit. If it looks good, wear and enjoy regardless of size. Who cares what some consider to be too large or too small?

I think you can keep it! But just curious, where do you usually sell your Baltic. I find it harder to sell micro brands

I have watches I’ll rarely wear that I just like seeing in my box, and I have had some that I was just fine giving away. If you think you can get enough money to be worth the trouble of selling go for it though.

Yea that’s the hard pill to swallow tbh

I’d probably be lucky to recover 50% back from the pieces I am willing to let go

Micro brands are definitely niche and I think Reddit or eBay is probably my best bet at reaching the right buyer

Good idea! I have family that might be interested in these pieces. Thanks for the 2 cents.

Might as well get started selling the ones you're very confident you'll never wear again. That way you have some more time with the "maybes" to make up your mind.

Consolidate into fewer higher quality pieces. You won't regret it 💪🏼👍

Have you tried changing the straps to see if that reignites your interest in them? I fell out of love with my Tudor Flyback Chrono, as it was just too bulky and the grey face appeared washed out on its steel bracelet. I swapped it for a black leather rally strap and it was transformed; lighter on wrist, the dial became the focus, and I fell back in love with it! So glad I didn’t sell it.

Great idea! Will try it out before making any decisions.
