Starting a new job with this beauty
After a year of unemployment and delivering grocerys for a living I’m finally back working in my field and what better to start a new job than with the company of my Seiko SSA231.
The open heart gives it a certain fun that makes it work in both formal and more casual settings, the center dial has a lovely pattern (that you can see on the second picture) and the hands are a bright blue with the right light.
It was a christmas present from my girlfriend back in 2020 while I was working from home, as I was let go in may 2021 I hadn’t had the chance to show it off in an office and I was wearing it for going to dinner or parties but not regularly, because I bumped my wrist a lot delivering packages.
This will be my daily driver for the forseable future and I couldn’t be happier (both for the new job and for the chance to wear my watch on a daily basis).

I'm a big believer that works gives us purpose so I can relate to some of the psychological damage that happens when you're not doing the thing you feel you're meant to do.
