NWA - Everyone’s least favorite Omega

“Anti-magnetic? So what, all of Omega’s models have a similar rating”

“Faux-tina?, disgusting”

“No micro adjust on a $5k watch?, Trash.”

Well, I love it, always have & was fortunate enough to come across this one at a great price, brand new, from a trusted source. Tried getting it sized at the Omega boutique yesterday only to find out they close at… 6pm? 🤨.

Tried doing it myself but the factory decided to tighten the screws with the hand of God. Rather than destroy the bracelet, I’ll let them deal with it later today.

So far, impressed with the watch. The quality of the finishing & crisp edges are more than what I’m use to. The polished bits of my Oris take a toll on my mental health from all the wiping off finger prints & cautious advancing through doorways. Glad to have something I can just grab & not worry about how pretty it looks. Going to have to wear this one for some time before dropping any final thoughts.

Sorry to anyone who thought this was a more exciting model when I posted my delivery pic yesterday. Hopefully, I can add some more Omega family members in the near future.

On a side note, the little travel case that’s built into the main box is really cool & something I didn’t know existed despite watching watch videos for the past 6 years. Not sure why I never came across this.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I’ll be spending mine with this new addition. ✌🏻

Not my least favourite. Love the Railmaster 👍

·

I prefer this to the Aqua Terra. It suits me more.

·

I don't know the model really but I like it. Are they deffo screw in the bracelet or could they be split pins? My Longines uses splits but they look like screws from one side!!!

·

one of my favourite watches in general, stylish and strong gada

·

I like it a lot too!

It’s two screws with some kind of bar in between. Watched a few videos on it & it seems straightforward but it’s only going to get adjusted once so might as well let the AD give it a shot. I normally have no issues with removing links but this one is making me nervous lol

The Railmaster is highly underrated IMHO ... CLASSIC looking design that can be paired with just about anything, for any situation!

I love the railmaster. Congrats on your new watch

·

I echo a lot of the comments to this. The rail master is a beautiful watch. Congratulations

·

Actually, this is my favorite Omega above all others and I hope to own one someday. I'm hoping it can be my retirement gift to myself next year.

·

Everyones least favorite??

Mr. Ploprof would like a word.

The Railmaster does get a lot of love actually. The people that love it REALLY love it. Myself included. It was the 3rd (decent) watch I ever bought and it's still one of my favourites and will never leave my collection.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Or something... 😄

·

Beautiful piece congrats!

·

Great choice mate! Banger watch!!🍻

·

I love the Railmaster. I even go as far as to say that I like it more than the ubiquitous Speedy Moon watch.

·

My friend, that watch is beautiful! Almost picked up one myself. I’m amazed at some of things you have heard about it. But this is an opinionated community, of whom I am part of😁…wear that watch well! It’s the only way to take it from “beautiful” to “amazing”🍻

I actually asked about a blue one at an AD a couple of weeks ago. He confirmed they had stopped making them and had no new stock at all ( this was at Bluewater just east of London). He said it has always been a poor seller and demand was never high hence it being discontinued...again. I do love it though. Probably have to go down the preowned route!

There will be loads new online still…

In fact you can still order the blue dial on bracelet direct off omega website. I literally just checked.

My favorite Omega! Congrats on the pick up its amazing!

·

Well done! I snagged one myself this week. I am very much impressed with the quality of the finishing as you noted as well as the GADA nature of this piece. It hits all the right notes for a very fair price!

·

I love it, man. Congrats.

·

I’m wearing the steel dial one as I type this. Bloody love this watch.

·

Had mine on my wrist a few days ago
