All watches with that modula have a simple annual calendar.
My understanding is; an annual calendar treats February as a 30 day month, therefore requires an adjustment annually on March 1st. Hence they are called annual calendars. A watch that jumps from February 29th to March 1st would be an improvement over this because it wouldn't need adjustment on leap years, would be off 1 day as opposed to two on non-leap years and won't display the non-existing February 30th. I have a few digital watches/clocks that work like this.
On the other hand, one that jumps from February 28th to March 1st on every year is far worse. Needing an adjustment only on leap years might be slight advantage but:
February 29th will never be displayed, meaning one day every four years the calendar is completely useless.
When it needs adjustment, you need to advance the date 30 days to go from March 2nd to March 1st.

The Casio modules don’t quite work like this. I have the A168. It jumped from 28 Feb to 1 March, but I was able to set it to 29 Feb with manual adjustment

Well, my understanding is that an annual calendar tracks the annum, the year, and it treats every year as an equal. And since it knows which month it is (but not necessarily showing it), it can count with the possibility of 29th February, but not using it by default. I'll check my F-105 when I get to it.

These guys have all recognised it’s Feb 29th, apart from the F-91W; will monitor what they do tomorrow!
Not for me. My Casio declared it 1st March today, but given that I haven’t told it what year it is, I can forgive it.
So'd my Timex Expedition Atlantis ... I manually reset it to read 2-29 from 3-1 but am wondering if it'll read 3-1 tomorrow or 2-30?? Which means I'll have to reset again! I should've just reset to 2-31 this morning and had it over with! LOL!!

Yes I’m curious about this! Another day of adventure. This hobby never grows old.
All but my most basic Casios, F91's W59 all have the correct date today. I have absolutely no doubt that my MB6 and other Radio control watches will self adjust tomorrow. My other Casios with perpetual calendars will be just fine too. And my 50k is still in my pocket. lol

checked my Expedition Atlantis reissue this morning, and lo and behold, after manually resetting to 2-29 yesterday, it did in fact roll into 3-1 this morning! 👍

My F-91W did the same. I'm disappointed...
I see, so that's why everyone was waiting for the 29th 😂

I checked the year was correct on my digitals, so I could relax (apart with my F-91W!)

F-91W does not have a year setting, at least mine doesn't...

Yeah, my F-91W is the only one that let me down due to having no year. All my other Casios and Timex T-80s have been OK
The suspense when it doesn't all change immediately will be immeasurable!

If you fell asleep before midnight It’d be crushing 😖

Si alguno tiene algún perpetuo hacemos videllamada 👌🇺🇾 no creo que halla ningún perpetuo😂

So, my F-105 also went straight to 1st March. I had to set it to 29th February manually. It's a logical solution for annual calendars.
Wore it today just to see if it worked. #casio

I can’t wait!
Casio owners with automatic calendar can relax . Im sorry F91W owners
