Personally I love the term "summer watch". It's my favourite time of year and if a watch helps me enjoy it even more then so be it!ย
What's your pick for this year's "summer watch" in 2022?ย
Cheers ๐น๐โ๏ธ๐๐

My summer watch last year was my bronze C60, I suspect it will be the same again this year.
Perfect choice mate! Sun + summer = bronze!ย
Enjoy ๐ย
I have a few options for summer watches.
Bertucci A-2RA on canvas strap with compass.
Pro Trek PRW2500
Bulova Devil Diver on an elite silicon strap from Barton Watch Bands
Gotta go with my recently acquired Doxa Sub300T Aquamarine ๐๐

Devil diver is a great choice! ๐ย

Yep, that Doxa blue screams summer โ๏ธย
I went with an AliExpress option for a summer watch as I wasn't 100% convinced that I'd rock that type of dial.
And I also did the eBay thing and got myself a swimming pool watch (pre-owned). ย After all you need to know how long you are at 50m whilst splashing around the shallow end...
San Martin looks fantastic ๐ย
heres 2 of my โsummerโ watch, but since im in SoCal, almost any of my pieces can be considered a โsummerโ watch ๐
I feel like you have to mention this perfectly useless afternoonย
Currently got this on a nato, think I'll keep it like that for summer.

Now that's a summer watch! Stunning mate
The only watch that could count as summer watch in my tiny collection would be the Casioak transparent. Although thatโs really more of a pool/beach watch.ย
Your version of the Oris Divers 65, however, seems like the perfect summer watch, @Bradleyย
ย
Ive yet to spend a summer with the grand Seiko SBGA413 Shunbun. ย But have certainly enjoyed wearing it so far this spring. ย ย
ย
first bracelet I have ย ever felt comfortable wearing. ย This weekend should be a good test as the temps will be in the 90s. ย

Very nice ๐ย
I donโt own it but for me the BB58 Blue is a perfect summer watch. Maybe, just maybe, I can decide on which GMT I will go for. The CW Sealander 63 in white is in the running and that is a nice summer watch IMO.
Definitely torn between getting a 63 in white or trying to be good and save up for The GS quartz GMT!ย
This one screams summer for me.ย
That CW is definitely one of their understand releases imo.ย
Goes well on that Nato ๐ย
Thanks, I tend to put a lot of my watches either on a nato or tropic for the summer.ย
All fantastic choices! Love the month by month format also mate ๐ย
Thank you very much. I typically wear one watch per month. Junes watch is special cause i retired last june, they gave me a nice party at work and took upa collection for me. I always have liked ocean crawler and thats how i ended up with June's watch.
Got my hands on the prx 35mm in gold pvd for full summer vibes!
These new 35mm ones are very tempting ๐ย
The most summer watch I have right now. The idea of a bronze watch has been super enticing, as I've been finding SS a bit too shiny ๐
Want to try out a Orient soon!
Hereโs my entries - good bands that can easily wash - nice look on land or water ย
Tried on two of my friends Omega Bonds and that is one hell of a watch!ย

Absolutely! They fit extremely well on wrists measuring 7 inches and below.ย
In my case, I still looking for the perfect summer watch. It would be water proof (100-200m), thin, and small diameter, something colorful (no black dial). The strap is also a important point in summer, maybe a nato. If you know a watch that matches with these specifications...?
So, I donโt really have a dedicated Summer watch in my collection. In response to your question about what is the summer watch of 2022, I think it would have to be something in Tiffany/Robinโs egg blue. (Perhaps with a bezel that can track the declining value of my investment portfolio).
I donโt own this, but this would be my summer watch if I did.
That beauty is on my do-want list. Gorgeous! ๐

Something from hamilton, ย tissot or zodiac!ย

Can't go wrong with any of them IMO!
In South Florida, we have 2 seasons: summer and hurricane, which roughly matches other locations equivalent of summer. ย Hurricanes are all about preparation and toughness - so my go-to hurricane watch is the Vostok Amphibian paired with a durable Kavu velcro strap for comfort in extreme conditions.
Always wanted the Steve Zissou Vostokย
Slightly north of you, but still with two seasons: ย Summer, and "look for a reason to wear the sweater that you got for Christmas but really don't need" season.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day it is linen dial season:
Beautiful dial on this one!
Wow! That blue Nato is spot on for this 65! ๐ฏ
