Beautiful dial but I think a leather strap would make it look more elegant. In any case, lovely watch, great brand.

This steel bracelet is very soft and supple, it feels very comfortable on the wrist and I personally don't like leather straps, I prefer steel straps or textile.

Great watch, was thinking seriously about a JLC triple calendar Moonphase last year but opted for a different brand. I am keen on a JLC still but may just look for a simple Moonphase watch when my funds increase. Is the Master Calendar in JLC’s present catalogue?

I don't know exactly, this model is already older, but there would have to be a new model in which the two date windows are closer and the day date jumps over the moon phase.

Thx! JLC do update their models regularly. Not a big concern but when I was shopping for a new watch last Dec. a clerk who worked for a multi brand ad in the past said that here in Toronto servicing of JLC was more uneven than other service outlets than I am accustomed to. I noticed a comment that the watch might look better on a strap, might agree. Lately I am becoming a fan of alternatives to metal bracelets mostly because in my life bracelet watches pick up a lot more scratches dings than if the watch head is fitted to robust straps or rubber. Hope you buy that JLC. 👍

Great find in the world of JLC. Certainly fits into the category of Neo vintage. It’s always a good idea to buy the seller and in the JLC customer service it’s important. Nothing like a master control JLC

I think they are god tier and still a “reasonable” value in the luxury watch world. Consider that the original AP Royal Oak and Patek Nautilus used JLC movements. They are the watchmaker’ watchmaker for a reason and continue to make outstanding movements and watches with impeccable finishing and superb technology.
