Any Sinn fans out there?

Ive had several come through my hands in the last 12 months and I must say the build quality and attention to detail have all been superb.

I thought I'd share my review/experience here with the Sinn 556A

Let me know your thoughts

In love with my 104 and have my eye on the 206 with the blue dial.

Nice video, thanks for sharing.

I do admire Sinn, but I do so from afar. The aesthetic is nice and utilitarian, and you can just look at them and know they‘re tough. I’m sure I’ll own one one day, I’m just not sure which one yet.

I love Sinn, my first mechanical watch was a Sinn 856 UTC in 2014. It almost has no scratches thanks to the tegimented steel and I played very rough with it.

Sinn goes a long way to make sure their watches operate in cold conditions.   Several reviewers  have noted that the "divers" extension doesn't belong on this watch.   That extension is to allow the watch to be worn over an outer garment.   People that wear gloves all day such as open-cockpit pilots, hunters, etc can put the watch over their sweater or coat.

Great review! This Sinn 104 is the most reliable and solid performer in my collection, and I have some pretty nice pieces. The high-grade Sellita is a cracking movement that can be serviced very cheaply. The syringe hands are perfect for precision setting, and the day-date complication is very useable as a daily driver.

I've never actually seen a Sinn in the wild but have admired the design of the Sinn 104 on the internet. However, I've never understood the 556A attraction and like in the video thought it looked boring. However, some watches need to be seen in the real world and held to truly appreciate them. I think next trip to Calgary I'm going to stop by the Sinn AD and actually take a look in person. On paper it looks great solid, well built, good materials, but just boring. If the boring disappears in person I could see this one in my collection.

Thats a brand i keep looking at periodically, it watchbuys.com that reps them in the usa?

Everything I’ve ever done
Everything I ever do
Every place I’ve ever been
Everywhere I’m going to
It’s a SINN

Sinn is one of my favorite brands, alongside Rolex, Omega, Cartier and JLC. My collection currently includes 3 Sinn models - the Sinn 104, Sinn 144 and Sinn 303.

Love this watch and your review Peter. It is a bit boring but in the strap monster kinda way👌

If you wanna an extra pop, the one with the red second hand is 😍

Bro the review was great and this piece is the perfect example of less is more. Stunning piece mate.

Welcome aboard brother 👍 Don’t get me started on Sinn watches 🤣 I’m sure there’s not enough space on this forum.

Just waiting on my blue 556, which hopefully be with us soon 🙏🏻

I don't have one right now but its on my wish list!

I'm a real 556 fan. Bought the 556A back in 2019 and have just ordered the Carnelian Red limited edition 556, on its way from Frankfurt 😊
