What's your thoughts on BALTIC ?

After listening to viewers suggestions to get a Baltic on the channel, I must say I was not expecting the quality finish as well as the attention to detail.

BUT, it's also a pretty pricey watch (considering no bracelet is included and sporting a Miyota instead of potentially a Swiss movement at this price point 650 EUR)

let me know your thoughts on this brand or even this watch if anyone has had experience with the brand

I agree with your pricing analysis wholeheartedly…I want to see a Swiss Made movement in the watch for that kind of money.

·

I really like Baltic as well, agree wholeheartedly on the price.

Awesome review as always! I’m hesitant to get on Baltic. At their price ranges versus what you get, they run into some compelling competition.

·

Baltic has some nice offerings but it’s just up against a lot of stiff competition at that price point. You want wild dials, go Zelos. You want higher end, go Halios.

·

Not my style, but they make great watches.

The MR01 is a standout piece that crushes anything in the price range. But their divers certainly face heavy competition from folks like Zelos, Monta, Seiko, Oris and even Sinn.

I agree with this, and others. Baltic makes amazing watches but they swim in a crowded market for their sports watch.

“Swim” - come on man, we can’t let you get away with that lmao

I have the Baltic Aquascaphe and i‘m still impressed by the quality and the design details. Even if it could have a better movement it still has 4 Hz and they regulate it well.

About the price i would agree. I guess i would have more Baltics if they would be a bit cheaper but i still want that Aquascaphe Titanium.

Style over substance, overpriced, overrated..... French.

I bought a Bicompax 002 blue-gilt a couple of years ago and never managed to connect with it. The pics looked great, but in the metal it always felt cheap, particularly the hands. (It wasn't the movement, it was fine.) Eventually, I sold it here about a year ago. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the better, more expensive watches I own.

I love my Aquascaphe, its vintage look and practical charm make it a dressy diver that works for me. Plus the sunburst blue married to the creamy coffee printed indices... its a classy combo evoking smokey waiting rooms waiting on the orient express.

Too expensive.

I love the stuff their putting out recently but just can't seem to pull the trigger. My favs right now are the tricompax panda and the mr01 salmon.
