The manufacturers of fine timepieces would never overstate the water resistance depth rating, and I'm sure the pool you'll be in will be much less than 50m deep. 😉

·

It'll be fine.

It will be fine. It’s literally made for it. ❤️

·

No worries in the pool at all 👍

The pools just over 1 metre deep think I'll be fine

I’m pretty sure they had it tested for 59 fathoms of water resistance just like the original. Swimming in the pool will be fine. Just don’t go scuba diving perhaps hehe have a great holiday ❤️

·

Thanks

·

You are fine. Worst case it’s under warranty and they’d probably just give you a new one. Have fun with it. I took my Cartier 30m WR to the beach once, it wasn’t in the ocean long. But everything was just fine.

·

Wow that was a gamble,I'm just going to wear it see the results

When i am swimming without my glasses i read my wrist watch. I wouldn't even see where the clock on the wall is located without my glasses

·

I know what you mean, no real reason, but worn a watch for 50+ years just feels natural

Screw-down crowns are useful and help optimize your WR, but they are not necessary. Push button crowns can be perfectly water resistant in their own right; they have double-redundant gaskets on both sides of the casing, so as long as the crown is pressed in like it's supposed to be, the WR will function as it should. No worries. I have an Invicta Pro Diver that has double gaskets, and it's rated at 200m WR, LOL 🤣 I'm sure the BlancPain will perform heroically.
