This thing is really just a home run watch. The movement alone is incredible, but the whole package just sings. 

I almost got one after seeing this video by IDGuy!

Love this watch!
The dial is just perfect in my opinion.

Its amazing how literally lob-sided the design is, but how it still looks balanced. When I show it to people, they genuinely don't notice the big eye subdial until I point it out

Yeah, the asymmetry really works for me.

I was strongly considering an IWC Pilot Chronograph a while back, I even tried a few of them on at the AD last summer and really liked it but didn't really have the money to spend at the time.

A few months later; I was browsing youtube and started watching videos about the Bigeye, I've always known about it but it never really did anything for me until I started watching those videos.

Something just clicked, I felt like I was getting pretty obsessed with it.
After a few days of staring at photos and watching videos about it, I took a trip to the AD and tried it on.

I couldn't justify the price difference between the IWC and the Bigeye, I already have a traditional Flieger style watch (sterile black dial type A dial) and felt like the IWC Chronograph would be too similar.

So, I settled with the Bigeye and I don't regret it one bit!
It's a pilots watch but it's different enough from my Flieger to not feel like I bought the same watch twice.

Really unique watch and it feels quite versatile to me despite it's quirky dial design.

Welcome to WC! One of the very best chronos you can get for the money. Just wished they could have placed an exhibition case back on it. The movement is a beauty to behold. I love my Bigeye. Favorite part are the oversized pushers! 😁

Thank you! Agreed on the case back, though I do like the Cessna etching on the caseback. It seems odd to me that they went through the trouble of thermally-bluing the column wheel just to hide it behind the caseback.

That is right! The movement should be exhibited for everyone to see. Actually if I would come across a see-thru case back for modding the Bigeye I would jump on it.
