I was scrolling through Facebook, and came across this rather intriguing Walmart ad (click to enlarge pic). So, I gotta know, who's ordering an OP through Walmart? Do you opt for store pickup so you can check it out first, or trust that the delivery guy will get it to the right house? If picking it up, does the customer service associate peel the stickers for you before the hand off? Do you celebrate your new purchase in the stockroom with a bottle of Welch's sparkling grape juice? Do they keep track of your spend history, and is it transferable between the different Walmarts and Neighborhood Markets? ๐คฃ
Now the Citizen, on the other hand, makes much more sense. I rather like the look of that one, and wouldn't be afraid to have it delivered to my door.

I saw the same thing this morning with patek and ap but on instagram ๐๐๐
So THATโS where they are all going!
Good thing they are 24 hours. Get ready for tons of NWAs from me this evening!
Can I use my Walmart purchase history to ask for Explorer-ii GMT Pepsi?
Order a blue Rolex OP from Walmart
Receive blue Casio OP from Walmart.
Lol. For brands that are so image conscious, how does WallyWorld become an apparent AD?
From Casio to the Crown. The glo-up is real!
Im saving my Walmart gift card stocking stuffers, maybe I'll be able to purchase one when I'm 4,356....

You can catch 'em on Rollback! Check the clearance aisle. ๐คฃ
I wonder if thatโs actually the โChineseโ version.
It's going to be delivered to the Wal-Mart watch counter, where among a selection of batteries in odd sizes, and within view of popular colognes from the 1990s, you will wait for someone to help you.
That person will wear a blue vest, and a name tag that reads: "Hi, I'm Godot, how may I help you?"
I saw Rolex being sold by Walmart, but they were really from 3rd party grey dealers. Perhaps this is the same?
Yes, I just checked and the prices are grey market.
Itโs not Walmart selling them. Itโs a third party seller using Walmarts e-commerce platform to sell used watches. They are most likely from independent jewelers & grey market dealers. Unfortunately Rolex and others have no control over the how their brand is perceived when being sold through a grey market dealer on Walmarts website.

Figured as much, but it definitely stopped me in my tracks. ๐

Yeah, I figured. I just thought it was funny. Usually I only see Casios & Citizens on their ads.

Yeah why not... Then let us know how it goes
