Yeah you’re right. We always make deals in our heads and justify “the next thing”.
I’m most comfortable when I have 12-14 watches. Any fewer and I’m bored. Any more and I get anxious. YMMV.

How long do you research/seriously consider a watch before actually pulling the trigger?

Ranges from 5 seconds to 2 years. So no rules here lol
Had a Snowflake but sold it a few years back. If it was slightly smaller, like 39mm, thinner, and had a nicer clasp especially, I'd buy it again. The dial and dial furniture are incredible, truly miles above anything remotely close to the price range, but those other things bothered me enough to let it go.

Both have a place in my collection but I will admit that the Duro will remain as the house renovation/painting option 🤣
