Twelve X

Today Christopher Ward proudly launches the ‘Twelve X’

This incredible timepiece not only pushes CW forward as a brand in our 20th year of business but also celebrates the 10th anniversary of our SH21 calibre!

This stunning COSC certified 5 day power reserve movement continues to impress the watch community (as-well as the team working within the brand) and we have now housed our most powerful engine inside of our most popular core range, the Twelve.

At first glance you may see a ‘skeletonized’ watch but look deeper. The way that every facet and surface has been polished or finished is unlike anything within this price bracket plus we’ve removed more material than ever before, exposing parts of the movement that have previously been hidden.

The case is made of grade two AND Grade five Titanium to ensure that the X is as beautiful as it can be in its finishing but also adds a level of robustness so it can be enjoyed and worn.

I’ve been lucky enough to have had this watch with me for a few weeks now and it really is spectacular in the metal and on the wrist. This is not a limited edition but it will be made in limited quantities and will be delivered in the fall of this year. We are taking Pre orders over on the Christopher Ward website right now and we cannot wait to hear what you think.

THANK YOU

Mike

Stunning, badass, impressive…i love it

I personally love it! I hope one makes it to SF windup. Hell I hope I can make it to windup myself.

We will have a few there for everyone to see!!

·

It's not for me but I can appreciate what has gone into this.

·

Congrats on the upcoming release and celebrating 20 years!

·

Fantastic, congratulations on the launch. I'm still hoping for a COSC Ti 12 with a GMT or dual time complication @Mike55

·

Design question. On the regular bel canto it has low contrast hands meaning less legible (an oft complaint), but on some ltd editions they have blue/darkened hands. This new skeletonized watch also has grey hands over grey, making it less legible. You have shown with bel canto ltds that you can make watches more legible. Why did you go for a grey handset for this watch?

The back it's fantastic, the "dial" it's not for me.

·

Excellent!

·

Looks great, same issue I have with all skeleton watches is legibility though and this looks like it may suffer a bit with that (although not at night looking at the lume shot)!

·

People under estimate how much work goes into this. Congrats on the release, I look forward to seeing the content that comes from this. 🫡

·

Really really amazing. But, I don’t fully like the skeletonitation done here. I would like somthing like the zenith defy surfer, where the structre holding the movenent has a beautil pattern.

·

Can't wait for someone to stack this up against the oris pro pilot and zenith defy skeletons. It looks great

·

Looks great! Out of my price range, but definitely awesome. Hopefully that micro adjustment butterfly clasp concept will catch on in the industry too. Very cool!

·

Well over double the price of a regular Ti model. You’re approaching Omega money there and I know which I would rather have

·

I can appreciate all the work that went into this and it's obviously well made, but I guess I'm just over skeletonized watches cuz I feel nothing for this one.

Oh well, can't please every one.

Cheers!

·

love this watch! Congratulations on the 20th. This watch reminds me of the Zelos Skyraider Skeleton model.

Amazing implementation of micro adjustment on a butterfly clasp, are there plans to bring this micro adjustment to the rest of the Twelve lineup?

·

I do understand the strategy to evolve the brand upmarket with technically impressive pieces like this. But they also move more and more away from my taste and my price range. So I don’t think I‘m going to buy another CW any time soon.

·

Great release. Looks amazing.🤩

·

Looks great, the lume ring is very Ming

Are you sure, CW still makes plenty of models in your price range

·

Do I have to be in the dark to read the time?

But none in “my price range” that I find good value for money and attractive at the same time.

·

As someone who skeletonized one train bridge one time, incredible work CW! Gorgeously executed, tho I feel more and more skeletonized dials are not for me. I prefer that work on the back.

That said, if the hands were a bright, contrasting color I think this would be on my shortlist.

It looks great

So the issue sounds like partly price but also your specific watch tastes

·

A great release for those who like the 12.

Its another home run for CW in their bid to move them more into the main stream and become a real alternative to TAG, Tudor etc. I Don't think it is as ground breaking as the Bel canto as it's a more refined version of the C60 Apex but this time it's getting the media traction which will be more of a game changer than the watch itself. strap in because like it or not we are going to start seeing this everywhere.

·

That lume!! 😍

·

Absolutely spectacular!! But maybe a little out of reach, or up against some stiff competition in that price range. Over $6K CAD before duties gets me a Seamaster.
