Dammit!!!! I'm in Minneapolis and would definitely be going however, I have Mayo clinic drama July 17 thru 19. Been waiting more then 3 months to have my case reviewed and accepted. Let's just say it's been a journey and I'm hoping to make the next. Soooo bummed😢

Westin River North? I'm right around the corner at the Courtyard. I live there from 07-12 and my condo was just three blocks north from where the Windup location on Paulina is located.
So many great locations to meet up in River North or the West Loop. Hub 51, the rooftop at the London House Hotel just across the river, Barstool River North, so many good spots and I've been gone 10 years so I'm sure there's a ton I'm not even aware of.

I asked my friends if they would want to go with me, but they will be out of town. So I will be attending by myself. I'm not working that Friday, so plan on going then. I believe I can make it to the Haymarket Pub.

@zkazan @buettner Do you guys have a schedule of events posted anywhere? I'm coming into Chicago for a mini-vacation with my girlfriend and I will probably only attend Windup for one day. We fly in Thursday night, out Sunday afternoon, and will probably go exploring one full day when we are there, leaving the second day to go to Windup. So I'm debating if Friday or Saturday makes more sense. Tough to decide without knowing what's going on each day of the fair. Thanks!

Glad you can make it! I'd suggest Saturday as we'll be doing some live recordings that day, including with James Stacey and Jason Heaton for a joint podcast. We'll have a couple scheduled for Friday as well, but that might be the better day to walk the show floor and see watches/speak to the brands. Hope this helps!

It does, thank you. And after listening to the Grey Nato podcast on my drive into work, it seems like they have a meetup scheduled late that afternoon that I'd like to join. Saturday it is, but I'm going to try to stop in late Friday for a sneak peak.

Monta Atlas if they have any there. Maybe a Farer. Very interested in the Oris Aquis Cherry too. Want to check out all three brands. Baltic Aquascaphe Dual Crown too.
