Clearly most of us will never be fortunate enough to have such a piece and you can argue for other 'more prestigious' brands in same price range would be a better purchase.

With you on the ALS. My number one 'if I had thr money' brand.
Thing is when talking this kind of money, If you can afford 280 thousand on 1 watch then money simply isn't an issue and any watch is in reach

I paid a mere £204 for my GP - gold plated silver case and bracelet - manual calibre. Even some little diamonds.
I prefer their more restrained models, but at least they are doing higher horology unlike some giant established brands. It is a criminally overlooked brand, and they really need to get a better publicist.
It's not really doing a lot for me TBH. Overly complicated and a dial that sacrifice legibility and practicability for the sake of being able to show off. The signature bridges of GP are also often used just to show that they exist. I'm not even sure if they contribute anything to the mechanics of GP watches.
Other than the price being way beyond my range, I’ll say what I always say about watches like this. I don’t approve of making it more difficult to tell the time than needed. Don’t make the time a small sundial, it completely defeats the purpose of a watch. Look, I get doing this as a flex. It’s a proof of the amazing things your company can do with a watch, and I appreciate that. It’s just not something I’d ever wear, even if I could afford it.
All that money and you get a single bridge. Where are the other two?! Definitely overlooked simple three-handers! 🧐😁

I’m a fan of their simpler casual dress watches. Well designed, beautifully finished dial and movement, and easy to read. Here’s my 1966 small seconds.
Great watch, but you'd get hosed on resale. GP drops like a rock.
