Midomania!
After seeing @alfredo post his Multifort TV Big Date, I pulled the trigger. It joins one of my favorite watches in the collection, the Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer.
I did perform my research. For possibly the best review of the TV Big Date, as well as other informative and entertaining content, checkout @Its_complicated_yt. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Anytime! I have a two hour commute and had to pull over to finish up your Zenith grail review. Your enthusiasm and content delivery had me laughing out loud. You may have convinced me to buy the Mido chronograph and not the Longines!!

That Ocean Star.... How do you read the time on it!! 😵💫 So much information on the dial! Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome! But I'm guessing it's not simply a matter of glancing at it to tell the time?
Lol. It took me some time to get used to the layout but I can read it quickly now. I can't make out the decompression table information though unless I have my glasses on.

Have you had any issues with the date wheel? I heard that when they first came out the date wheel had problems.
Congrats, love mine as well... Went to my AD to buy something completely different, but this called out to me. I don't usually make impulse purchases of this value, but I just couldn't resist this one and do not regret it at all.
Thanks, Paul! I am with you. I am really pleased after wearing it on and off for a few days. The gradient dial and date function sold me on it straight away but the level of finishing and comfort exceeded my initial expectations.

Yeah... Well.. I have to be smart with my limited resources. I really want a moonphase watch so I have to decide. And I'll travel to Japan later in te year.... So... I have to be smart.
