Help!

So here is the deal, I have some watches that are going to be on the way out, and will have some cash to play with. I have been longing for an explorer-like watch. I have had my eyes on the following watches for some time. Each has their pros and cons. I am wondering what everyone else thinks. Islander: Cheapest. I have a couple of other Islanders and love them. I really like the design of this one too. Simple but elegant. Isn't that the point? Lorier: Most expensive out of the 3 and the most handsome (in my opinion). Is currently sold out, but I am willing to wait for a bit. Smiths: The classic. Has "the story" behind it. That said, it seems like a pain to get one of these bad boys. Feel free to vote but weigh-in in the comments, so I have some things to think about. Thanks!

Never had one, but heard that Lorier is a very good bargain.

The Lorier seems pretty impressive in terms of quality.

A and B

I like the "and" instead of "or". I am not sure my wife will like that vocabulary lol

Yeah, its a beaut!

I like the numerals and hands on the Islander best. I'm certain you can't make a bad choice from those three.

Would you be just as happy with A as you would B or C? If so, get A and pocket the cash saved.

If not, choose B or C, with more strict criteria.

Lorier 100%. I have the Manhasset and it’s also fantastic and easier to get but my Lorier is much nicer and more unique. The dial texture, light play of the finishing, the way it wears is just fantastic. Mine runs at +/- 3 seconds a day. I haven’t had it on a time grapher so it maybe even better than that. I got frustrated with trying to get the Smiths gilt because it sold out in seconds😑

You truly can’t go wrong with the Lorier. If you’re willing to wait it’s absolutely worth it.
