Dive Watch, This or That?

Trying to choose between two amazing looking dive watches for roughly the same price, but vastly different vibes.

First we have the Farer AquaMatic Biarritz, bold popping color on a white dial. It also comes with three straps being a jubilee band, rubber strap, and a nato.

Second we have the Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300, a more traditional white on black, sharp/clean, and 100m more water resistance. This comes on a quality stainless steel band.

Went CW on this poll. I like the thinner bezel.

I'd go CW, it's more versatile, and more likely to still be interesting in 5 years. Novelty watches rarely stay novel more than a year or two...

·

I chose the Farer because it’s such a fun and interesting looking watch and I’m a huge fan of having some bright colors in one’s collection. If you already have other, more tradition divers, then definitely go for this one.

If you already have a safe, versatile option like the CW in the collection, the Farer is the obvious Fun and Funky Fresh casual choice. This specific colorway isn't to my personal taste, but I love to see it all the same.

Absolutely love the design language you’re expressing here.

A couple of suggestions I’d recommend you also consider if you haven’t already:

1. Monta Atlas

2. Zelos! Sold out direct I’m sure but great prices on Chrono24

3. Seiko Scuba original Pepsi / black bezel (can be had on chrono24 for less than $1K)

4. Sinn 104

Both are bookends of each other. I’m a sucker for Farer, so it was an easy choice. Happy hunting🤙❤️

Farer, it's an individual and fun look, while the CW has nothing new to say.

·

CW is super nice. I just ordered the Aquamatic due to boredom

·

Hope you bought the CW.......

For update I did end up going with the CW although with a white dial as a sort of best of both worlds and am so far very content with the choice. Thank you all who voted and gave your insight!

I am a big fan of both of these watch companies and what they have to offer. Both those selections are great. Here is what I have from each :
