Calling all 6.5 inch wrist WCers....what is a better watch strap size for us 105mm/70mm or 115mm/75mm

Found a strap I love but the sizes are a bit unusual. Would love to hear other opinions before I pull the trigger, these are not refundable purchases so need to make the right decision once!

I would try the 105/70 combo. I'm also about to pull trigger on a strap of that dimension & I'm at about 6.75in for wrist size. Most of my straps are around 120/75 & there has always been a fair bit of "tail" left over. Taking 5mm off wont make much of a difference so I think the smaller combo may be the better choice.

115/75 is only a bit shorter than standard length. It should fit well.

The 105/70 might be tricky.

The only reference I have for that size is that I buy 105/55 for my wife’s 5.5” wrist. My wrist is 6.75” but at her size strap, I can barely get the tip of tail through the buckle.

With an extra 15mm on the tail and a slightly smaller wrist, you might be wearing the 105/70 on the last or second last hole.

I prefer the shorter 105/70 for my 6.2” - 6.5” wrists. Shorter straps reduce the long tails for the most part.

·

It will depend on the size of the watch as well. I go for 110/70 when ordering custom straps, which gives me holes on each side on around 40mm cases.

Good to know, maybe I should hold back on that purchase myself.

I haven’t yet seen anyone ask this…what’s the lug to lug measurement of the watch case(s) this will be used on? Smaller lug to lug measurements might make the 115 more appropriate. Just a thought.

·

Wrist cirrumference = strap length + watch length (+ allowance for comfort and lug shape)

How long is your watch?

Had this exact quandary this week! (slightly different measurements, but my first fairly expensive strap and I hate arranging returns!)

I went longer in the end the shorter just sounded too short to me when I was running the numbers in my head.

I think 115/75 would be perfect

70/115 is fit 👍The Buckle will be in the center of the back of your wrist.

·

I did a 110/70 and it’s pretty much perfect for me. Wrist varies around or just above 6.5 usually

·

I order bespoke straps at a length of 105/65 but my wrist is 6.25". Now yours is 0.25" bigger and that is about 6mm so 105/70 should do the job.

·

6.5” here. I get 115/70 Delugs for my 36 w/ 41mm L2L and am on the 2nd to tightest hole (I should try to figure out a better way to phrase that). 115/75 seems large to me.

·

70/105would be a better fit. The buckle would be centered on the wrist and there will be less of a tail sticking out. My wrist = 6.25". Below is a 75/115 strap on my wrist. Not perfect for me but it works.
