New-ish to actually collecting. I have always been fascinated by mechanical watches and their inner workings. My first movement based watch was a Seiko Kinetic. Since I have started exploring and learning more about horological history, the bug bit me. Two of my passions are watches and whisk(e)y.

The perforated stainless case back choice is interesting. With a gilt movement, it would seem to obstruct the view of the heart of the watch. Is there a meaning or design cue behind the choice?
Can’t say that I have an opinion yet, I’ve never seen one in person. I’ll reserve my official judgement until then, but from what see in pictures I’m not sure they’d be for me. 🤷🏻♂️
