This is my latest acquisition. The Calypso II from E. C. Andersson
As a brit living in Sweden I wanted at least one good watch from the UK and got a Chris Ward, and one from Sweden and after a lot of searching came across ECA and really liked it.
Why: 5th year anniversary gift from wifey. I have always admired TH since I was a kid, but I tend to shy away from popular watches of any brand I’m likely to see a lot. When this came out earlier this year as 50th Autavia anniversary, we decided it was the one.

My latest purchase is the new Longines Ultra Chron.
I really fell in love with this watch when it came out.
I like its vintage style from the 70's as well as its high frequency caliber. It really feels like a GS Spring Drive when you read the second hand.
The bracelet is really comfortable and robust.
This is my first purchase from Longines and I am not disappointed, quite the contrary.
These two but still waiting... why ? Just look at it it’s so precious …🥺… also I really have def. Feeling my wife and I will be getting the Apple Ultra next week too…
The “Palm Leaf” Pagani Design PD-1715. Sourced a second hand one as well for half price of retail. Why? Well why not, I’m unlikely to obtain a colourful Rolex reference any time soon (sadly, through no fault of my own), and I am pleasantly surprised at what Pagani Design are offering at the ~£100 price mark with an NH35 movement and solid steel case and bracelet. I like the look of the dial, and I can wear it to work or on the beach without worrying about destroying it. It will tide me over for now.
I wanted a Genta watch, like the Nautilus, but I'll never be able to afford one so I figured I'd get a cheaper Gentalike, and I was looking at the PRX. But after a bit of research I found something I liked better, the Mathey-Tissot Evasion.
Why - As travel plans are coming back into view I wanted something that was an all arounder I didn’t have to worry about, regardless of the type of trip or destination. This watch does it all for me and could work in any scenario. Plus, having a co-axial movement has always been on my list.
Well I've been on a bit of a bender lately and purchased far too many. Some of them the price was just too good to pass up and I wanted to experience the watches for myself, but a majority of them will be flipped, well all but one 😂
Serica, this one is a keeper 👍
Ginault, nice but not my style, flipping 😢
HTD Skin Diver, she's a flipper 💯
ROIH Titanium Skin Diver, nice quality and definitely different, but it's not a keeper.
Draken Kruger Titanium chrono, great watch but alas too big for my wrist, flipping.
Lastly my MMI Turret Chrono, another good watch, but I just can't bond with it, it's going.
But hey that's the name of the game, you buy to try 💯 1 out 6 ain't bad for me 🤣

Picked this up a few days ago. Had zero intention of buying anything when I walked into the Seiko boutique... but there it was. And before I knew it, I was at the cashier.

I've had scores of watches of all case shapes and sizes pass through, and I never seemed to find them comfortable. Earlier this year, I realized that it was the crown that I found uncomfortable; if I have the crown at 8/9/10, I can comfortably wear basically any size watch...
I picked this up since it reminded me of my dad's watch from photos of his time in the Marine Corps during the Korean War... well, that and it was only $85 on sale. At 36mm, it is my smallest watch.
My latest purchase is a Seamaster 300m 42mm green on green rubber. I love it!
Why? Well I own 5 modern Rolex and rotate often. I haven't found the right daily wear watch. It's not my BB 58. It's not the BB GMT.
I like all things green. The new Seamaster is my first Omega and wow! I had no idea it was so wearable on rubber and legible. The lume beats the sub IMO.

Nice purchase! One question: what size wrist do you have?
I am considering the same watch, but not sure if I want the 36 or 38 .

When your wife says, 'That watch looks like it was made for you', you get the watch!😜

Orient mako xl. Because it was cheap as hell and I liked it.

Nice split second decision there!
My new rule of "no crowns on the right side of the case" has really focused my gaze.

Can you add pics in a reply? Sorry new to the site.
I did post my 300m on the daily what are you wearing post.
My latest purchase that I have in hand is my Rolex Datejust 41, stainless steel w/white gold bezel, azzuro blue dial with roman numerals.
However, my latest purchase that I don't have (it will be delivered tomorrow) is a Casio A168WG-9.
