Invicta Or Pagani Design?

So what is most people's opinion on Invicta these days? Currently I've been trying to make a decision between the Invicta 1953 or a Pagani design PD-1671 Both seem to look similar in terms of quality from the photos I have seen and both use a seiko NH35 movement. So I'm having a hard time deciding on which to pick. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I own a PD-1671:

I like the watch ... but given a choice between the PD-1671 and the 1953, I'd go for the Invicta as it nails the vintage Diver vibe better than the Pagani ... my $0.02 😀

Definitely gonna Go with the Invicta then thank you everyone for your help!

Invicta

I have a few Pagani Design watches with Seiko movements. Excellent budget watches for the money. I like being able to try out the case look and feel of the watches they are imitating for a small price. My only complaints would be the occasional sharp edge, and dive bezels are a touch loose for my preference. But with a great assortment of styles at roughly $100 it’s been worth it.

Invicta 9937. Only! Otherwise, neither!

·

Invicta surely

·

It would be Invicta for me it’s more its own thing yes I do now it’s a homage/ copy of a old submariner but it’s not obvious to the average person not wanting to sound like a snob but I don’t see the point in getting a copy of a Tudor that you can easily buy the real thing yes they are expensive but you can save up and get the real thing but saying all that I do like how PD has a date then the reel one don’t

·

Since Invicta has actual history and heritage and Pagani doesn’t… I think the choice is easy (and since Invicta also rescued Glycine from going away…)

·

I'd go for a San Martin BB homage before PD or Invicta.

·

Brand aside, between these 2 watches, I think the Invicta looks better.

·

I'd take an Invicta over a Pagani any day.

·

Pagani. Like the bezel insert better. But which one is cheaper? Invicta still has that offer "get 4 pay 1"?

·

Between these 2, go with the Invicta. It's a more cohesive design.

·

If you’re looking for a BB58 homage, I’d look at San Martin or Cronos before either of those options.

·

Invicta 1953 Series of watches is hands down some of the best dive watches in the under $150 range.

·

Of the two, I'd go 1953.

Both offer excellent specs for the cost.

I have a few PDs in my collection & while I do like them alot, one area they fall way short is lume.

I have to think Invicta has them beat here (it shouldn't be hard).

PD does chronographs very well, but for a diver I'd look elsewhere.

Get the Invicta, it’s on Amazon right now for $113

·

I would get the invicta any day of the week

Tudor

·

I recommend looking at San Martin because they produce high quality watches compared to Pagani design. I have three Pagani designs in my collection I like they but they have their pitfalls.

·

I would prefer Invicta If I cant buy Tudor☺️
