I’ve never understood the compass bezel and would love if someone could explain the purpose of it.

Looks pretty cool and something different from Hamilton, almost like a Tudor PO1, but the handset looks really good

I like the model a lot. Hamilton has actually been really consistent in trying to listen to their customer base. They are also not afraid to slightly go outside of their usual design language. I also agree with @pay2huynh, the hands look really good!

It does look good. You may be in luck as it looks similar to a Hamilton Khaki which I’ve seen on a leather strap for about ~$1K, so maybe <$1.2k with a bracelet?

That one looks great! I am glad they got rid of that useless 24 hour scale that made the dial way too busy for my taste.
