I'm a big fan of my Mini Turtle. It's smaller than a regular turtle but not by a ton. A have the JDM black dial version which has a splash of red.

I’ve got 30 seikos, but the turtle and Willard’s account for 10 of them… love them!! Maybe a samurai or the slim turtles released over the last 12 months, the glacier dial one is a beauty!

Get something OG, preferably JDM. You can get a nice (late 70s / early 80s) 6306 from Japan for <$1000 (upper left of photo, left of tuna). Or if you want to big, get a 6306 Scubapro 450 (lower left of photo).

Went with the vintage 6309 🐢. I bought this off a Navy diver that used this in the service. It's a birth year watch and just one month older than it.
