I'm a big fan. I've got a decent collection of vintage Seikos and most of them are from the 70's. There were so many cool designs back then.

My grandfather introduced me to chunky Seiko divers . I remember his being covered in micro dots of multi coloured deuco paint as he was a panel beater and spray painter ( a proper English wheel panel beater) it looked rugged …

Don't worry too much. The quartz ones are basically set and forget, never had issues with any of them 👌
