New Xeric mystery watch buy arrived.
So as you may have read Xeric has a mystery watch sale. It is two levels one for a quartz watch the other is for a automatic. I did the automatic level and got the Xeric Soloscope II.
EDIT just realized I missed a protective sticker on the dial in the pics.

I was the same way and my wife encouraged me to do the mystery buy.
My first thought was the watch was called “Mystery”. After some consideration, telling time on it is possible, but still a bit mysterious. How are you liking it?

I am not sure yet. It feels like the quality is good. Not the one I would have picked but when you buy a mystery watch you do not get to pick. It feels odd with the off set strap and shape but I think wrist time will address that. Not sure when it will fall into rotation. As for telling time it took a few minutes to figure out and I do not thin it is going to be a read at a glace watch but it is not that hard to read in a few seconds of study.

That is a good question. I would guess to be different.
That one would not be for me. Looks like a phone strapped to your wrist. Though , I am pretty traditional even small square watches give me pause 😉

Wow, I somehow missed this. It is an interesting idea to move some inventory or returns. Feels very Let's Make a Deal to me but (for watch nerds) with less chance of getting a goat. Take a chance on Door #1
At least you have the wrist for it, that would look like a tv tray on mine. Otherwise, a unique and funky watch!

That is a very cool watch. I picked up a Holograph III in yellow a couple of weeks ago. I'm waiting for a new strap so I can wear it.

I wondered the same thing and at the same time it struck a cord with my curiosity at a price that was why not.
